Bug#605789: kopete-jabber: a message could be lost if account disconnected

2010-12-03 Thread Vsevolod
Package: libkopete4
Version: 4:4.4.5-1
Severity: normal

1. Open chat for jaber account and some message bu not sent it yet.
2. Disconnect this account (or wait for some network problem).
3. Press 'Send' in chat window

Result: Please connect first message appears.
Text you have typed is lost without any trace and cannot be recovered by any
way!

Expected result: Send button is disabled when account is offline.

The problem is jabber-only. ICQ account works as expected.

This is not entirely true, ctrl+up/ctrl+down allows you to switch through
previous sent messages, including the message that you couldn't send.
