Hi!
I hope to not bring any further rage to this bug report but I have
noticed that using TERM "rxvt-256color" does not allow me to draw
semi-graphical characters.
I am using zsh and using "echotc", I can draw an horizontal line using:
echo $(echotc as)q$(echotc ae)
(q was from "echotc ac" output)
This works when TERM is set to "rxvt-unicode" or
"rxvt-unicode-256color" (I have them installed in my ~/.terminfo) but
does not work when using "rxvt-256color".
I suppose this is because rxvt-256color does not get installed. I have
added the following entry at the end of my rxvt-unicode.terminfo:
rxvt-256color|rxvt-unicode terminal with 256 colors (X Window System),
use=rxvt-unicode-256color,
I have installed it with "tic". It works fine now.
