Bug#619767: [aptitude-gtk] /etc/alternatives/aptitude: aptitude-gtk should have smaller priority than far more mature aptitude-curses
tags 619767 + confirmed found 619767 aptitude/0.6.5-1 stop Hello, (I marked many related bugs submitted by you to aptitude-gtk in the same way, didn't e-mail you for all of them). Thank you for your interest in improving Debian, and sorry to keep the bug unattended for so long. There's now an effort to review the open bugs related with aptitude and resume development. This problem is still present in the current version, 0.6.5-1. It's unlikely that it gets fixed in the near future, unless somebody with knowledge and will to tackle the GTK side of aptitude steps up. So at present this is mostly an ack, triaging the bug reports. Regards. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#619767: [aptitude-gtk] /etc/alternatives/aptitude: aptitude-gtk should have smaller priority than far more mature aptitude-curses
Package: aptitude-gtk Version: 0.6.3-3.2 Severity: important --- Please enter the report below this line. --- Hello, aptitude-gtk is not well usable on my several fresh squeeze installations. Because this and important bugs filled against it, aptitude-gtk should IMO have smaller priority in /etc/alternatives/aptitude than far more mature and perfectly usable aptitude-curses.
