Seems to point somewhere called DELL and does not seem to relate to
the thread mentioned here.
As Debian uses mailman for their mailinglists, are people aware that it
is has a Receive your own posts to the list? option?
If one would disable that (thus setting = No), you will not get a copy
of a mail sent to the list and where your destination is already in the
To/cc. Note that this can be set globally/per-list in mailman.
One then does not even have to guess that somebody does or does not want
to receive a direct copy.
As mentioned in the ticket setting Mail-Followup-To: avoids getting a
copy too.
Additionally the current code of conduct:

has the following line:
Do not send automated out-of-office or vacation messages.
While there are apparently some people sending automated

I suggest that people who are able to automatically send that kind of
things should at least do one of the above two things...
Alternative option: is there a addon to Thunderbird which makes/forces
Reply-All to behave like Reply-To-List for debian.org mailinglists?
