Hi Gürkan, i tried to reply to the bug report, but somehow my mail does not appear there: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=623096 What's my mistake? Jens
--- Begin Message ---Hi, thanks for reporting this. i receive this error quite often through the bug report function, but know i can ask someone a few questions. 1. Is this error reproducible? If yes, which output options do u use? PAL, NTSC, AVI, MPEG, ... ??? 2. Does this error comes directly after starting the rendering? Or only on a specific image? Which image formats do use? JPEG?? I am using mencoder to create the video file. the image data is send through a pipe to the mencoder process. I presume, that this mencoder process dies for some reason, so that the pipe becomes invalid. Maybe you can have a look into the process list (ps -ef; or system monitor) and have a look for the mencoder process. I would appreciate any help. Regards, Jens
