Bug#627163: installation-report: Installer hangs on Scanning disks... at 50%
Hi, can you send the log (compressed) from the sucessful installation on the same machine? There's a line with a failure message from the kernel but i'm not sure this is the cause (or not). May 20 08:00:17 kernel: [ 179.918750] mpt2sas0: failure at /build/buildd- linux-2.6_2.6.32-31-amd64- vrfdM4/linux-2.6-2.6.32/debian/build/source_amd64_none/drivers/scsi/mpt2sas/mpt2sas_scsih.c:3798/_scsih_add_device()!
