“he”?

  From: merlin
probably   == From: MERLIN Philippe
definitely != From: Marcus Lundblad

This makes no sense, I already explained why. “3D doesn't work” right
now have mostly two possible reasons:
 - non-free drivers having to cope with multiarch.
 - unfortunately too quick migration of multiarch mesa to testing.

*Again*, the bug reported by Philippe Merlin (this bug) is about the
former.

*Again*, the bug Marcus is talking about, is the latter.

So as it is, this bug report has been checked (some dozens hours ago by
the way), and reassigned to the appropriate package. This is not about
reassigning all bugs to fglrx, please get your facts straight.

KiBi.

Because it is no reason to reassign everything (unchecked) to an
non-free driver, just because it is reproduceable with it (especially if
it reproduceable with a free one). And who said, that reassigning all
bugs to fglrx is now okay, just because you blogged about
"not-bugging-us"?..

We already had got bugs about the mesa transition..

Can you elaborate?

AFAICT, as I mentioned, the initial bug is an fglrx issue, reassigning
it back.

Marcus's issue is another issue, why are you reassigning the initial bug
to mesa? (And as explained on the blog post, there's no need to open
more bugs on the mesa side, since things are getting fixed already.)

There is much more collateral damage than this, giving back the bug..

both the original bug and what you're having are described here:
  http://blog.mraw.org/2011/06/18/mesa_a_disturbance_in_the_Force/

This bug is about the first collateral damage. Your issue is the second
collateral damage.
