The new forked-daapd codebase (starting with the 0.1xgcd series) requires Clang to build; as Clang is only available (working) on i386 and amd64, binaries for other architectures need to be removed from unstable. This situation will only be fixed by Clang being ported to more architectures or gcc gaining support for Blocks.
