I usully run full-upgrade, except when it breaks too many packages.
Since a few months, full-upgrade breaks a lot of things (too many),
so I use safe-upgrade instead, waiting for the conflicts to disappear.

When I'll upgrade libreoffice, I'll see if the bug is still there.

Hrm… I run testing since nearly ten years.

Sorry, I don't try to break anything, I just upgrade it nearly every
day.

Then use (dist|full)-upgrade, as you should? or try apt-get whether it
gives ane options? (But well, you need dist-upgrade there, as dependencies
of course change and you'll need new packages and simple "upgrade" doesn't
do that - as documented)

And that should do, given there were no reports of the upgrade breaking
because of dependencies. Really.

If you don't know how to use testing, don't.

> Would you like me to break something else?

No, I actually don't want you *break* but *fix* something.

Rene

aptitude safe-upgrade refuses to upgrade LibreOffice: when I type
aptitude install libreoffice to upgrade it, aptitude proposes me to…
remove libreoffice. Yeah, great.
Would you like me to break something else?

Are you kidding? What should we do with a testing from April 2011?
(cf. http://packages.qa.debian.org/libr/libreoffice/news/20110415T163912Z.html)

Nothing. Please try with a uptodate libreoffice (and a uptodate testing).
Until then it's per definitionem not reproducible.

Interestingly loads of other libreoffice packages are at 3.3.3-4 or
even 3.4.x...

Rene

Bug#655899: libreoffice-math: widehat fails

2012-01-14 Thread Nicolas Patrois
Package: libreoffice-math
Version: 1:3.3.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The widehat command does not show a large hat on top of the expression anymore.
It may be a font issue, ie LO-m does not find a correct font.
