Package: gnumeric Version: 1.10.17-1+b2 Severity: normal To reproduce: - new workbook - enter a,b,c,d,e (or anything else) in A1:A5 - enter 1,3,4 (or any integeres in 1..5) in B1:B5 - enter =index($A$1:$A$5,$B1) in C1 - copy the formula to C1:C5
This works. Now let's try to use an array formula. Copy the same formula as an array formula to D1:D5. As expected, this indexes always the first element ("a" in my example). But it should be possible to circumvent this behaviour by giving a name to $A$1:$A$5 and using it in the array formula. However, if you try it, nothing changes. As far as I know, this is a bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnumeric depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.41 ii gconf2 2.32.4-1 ii gnumeric-common 1.10.17-1 ii gsfonts 1:8.11+urwcyr1.0.7~pre44-4.2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-26 ii libcairo2 1.10.2-6.2 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-6 ii libgoffice-0.8-8 0.8.17-1 ii libgsf-1-114 1.14.21-2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.9-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.29.4-2 ii libxml2 2.7.8.dfsg-7 ii procps 1:3.2.8-11 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.6.dfsg-1 Versions of packages gnumeric recommends: ii evince 3.2.1-1 ii lp-solve 5.5.0.13-7 Versions of packages gnumeric suggests: ii epiphany-browser 3.2.1-2 ii fonts-liberation [ttf-liberation] 1.07.0-2 ii gnumeric-doc 1.10.17-1 ii gnumeric-plugins-extra 1.10.17-1+b2 ii ttf-liberation 1.07.0-2 ii ttf-mscorefonts-installer 3.4 -- debconf information: * gnumeric/existing-process: true gnumeric/existing-process-title: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
