Bug#661801: smartmontools: typo in man page: QUIT instead of INT in the description of --debug

2012-03-01 Thread Ferenc Wagner
Package: smartmontools
Version: 5.39.1+svn3124-2
Severity: minor

Hi,

Quoting man smartd:

   -d, --debug
  [...]
In this mode, the QUIT signal (normally generated from a terminal
with CONTROL-C) makes smartd reload its configuration file.
Please use CONTROL-\ to exit (Cygwin: 2x CONTROL-C, Windows: CON‐
  TROL-Break).

As already explained in the DESCRIPTION section, CONTROL-C generates
an INT signal. It's CONTROL-\ that generates SIGQUIT, which exits debug
mode. Please make this straight.

Thanks,
Feri.
