Bug#666808: apparmor: sourceful transition towards Apache 2.4
Hi, If needed, I might be able to help for the upload at the right time part, but I don't plan to learn how to use/test the AppArmor changehat Apache module any time soon, so this really should be done by someone else. any chance to move on with an upload anytime soon? AppArmor has reverse dependencies in Testing so that we cannot easily move on with the Apache transition as long as this module is not fixed or removed. If possible, please NMU this package as soon as possible. Alternatively I may NMU it by disabling the module as I have _no_ clue about AppArmor or how to test the module. -- with kind regards, Arno Töll IRC: daemonkeeper on Freenode/OFTC GnuPG Key-ID: 0x9D80F36D signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

If nothing convincing happens by Wednesday, I'll NMU with the debdiff I've attached to message #54. Does this suit your time constraints? We should just aim to get Apache 2.4 into Testing soonish to appease the Release Team and apparmor is amongst those modules which cannot easily removed from Testing to force Apache in as it is a non-leaf package. -- mit freundlichen Grüßen, Arno Töll GnuPG Key-ID: 0x9D80F36D signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

There's not reason to drop the binary package. Once apache2.4 is in unstable, we can just update the pieces. In the meantime, I can prepare an upload in experimental. -- Kees Cook@debian.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
