Thanks for the quick reply! I see gambas3 has no firebird module, so there is no need to bother you with the firebird-dev build-dependency :) Cheers! signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#667898: gambas2: Please build-depend on firebird-dev instead of firebird2.1-dev
Hi Damyan Gambas3 is already in the new queue waiting for its approval ( http://ftp-master.debian.org/new/gambas3_3.1.1-1.html ) As soon as gambas3 is approved I will request the removal of gambas2. Gambas2 can not be in wheeze for many reasons, specially because it can not be compiled or used with current qt and kde versions in the archive. I hope this is going to happen soon. Bug#667898: gambas2: Please build-depend on firebird-dev instead of firebird2.1-dev
Package: src:gambas2 Version: 2.23.1-1.1 Severity: wishlist Currently firebird2.1-dev is a dummy package depending on firebird-dev. I'd like to drop the dummy package. Please change the build-dependency from firebird2.1-dev to firebird-dev. This should be the last such transition.
