Hello, Thanks for filing a request to create a new mailing list.
I'm unsure whether we should host this mailing list within Debian due to being spefically for packaging and co-maintainers communication. A lot of other package teams consolidate these efforts through alioth projects which makes it even easier to collaborate together. Have you guys tried that? Feel free to disagree and prove a point for the need of this mailing list, though. However, since it's been almost two years of this request, chances are the real need for the mailing list might be unfounded.
