Hey, in case you still use Debian/unstable as your main system, can you please try to reproduce the bug with the latest lyx package 2.1.2-2. Package: lyx Followup-For: Bug #674289 I tried it with 2.1.2-2, and I think the problem is fixed. When using Insert - File - Child document - Include and using a tex-file with the Norwegian characters æøå in its name, it works fine. It also works fine to save and open lyx-files which have these letters in their filenames. The GUI just showed some meaningless error message in the shape of Something bad happened to a subprocess, but I have no idea what. Same problem here, in Norwegian.
