Oh, okay, I got it. It is fixed in this commit:

https://github.com/scim-im/scim/commit/790a0d15be15af908b12c9748c6562143e42e47f

I will make a new package for it soon.

It seems to be exclusive on xterm.  What terminal emulator are you
using?
