My test builds on amd64 (both apt-get -b source and pbuilder) succeeded without problems. Logs attached. Thus, I am unable to reproduce this bug. Perhaps there was some transient failure in your build - perhaps you could try again? Running /«PKGBUILDDIR»/src/objs/jed -script ./test/test_cmode.sl Unable to open cmode. Check the value of the S-Lang load path. This sounds more like the real culprit here and looks to me like some sort of a build environment issue. libslang was broken for a while recently in testing: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676038 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=675125 The build-log says: Get:112 http://localhost/debian/ unstable/main libslang2-dev amd64 2.2.4-12 [627 kB] which is the broken version. A rebuild now (against 2.2.4-14) should be fine.
