Bug#687442: Testing with i3-3225

2013-02-03 Thread Thomas Bauer
Dear all,

I tested kernel
3.2.0-4.drm-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.35-3~jcristau.1 x86_64 GNU/Linux

on a machine with hd4000 graphics
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3225 CPU @ 3.30GHz

I experienced no more freezes for one week, and currently no other
troubles. With the original wheezy kernel, the system froze
approximately once per day.

Hope the modified kernel will make it's way into wheezy.

Thanks to all
Thomas

Bug#687442: Testing with i3-3225

2013-02-03 Thread Rafael Cunha de Almeida
I having been testing the patched kernel with my lenovo x230 and so far
everything has been fine. Before, I was having freezes with regular kernel 3.2,
but this new kernel 3.2 has not frozen so far. I tried my bamboo wacon tablet
and it still worked well. X, gnome 3, audio, everything works. So far I haven't
had any issues which could be kernel related.
