Bug#696940: libmtp: libmtp-dev panics

2012-12-29 Thread Jeremiah C. Foster
Package: libmtp-dev
Version: 1.1.5-1
Severity: normal
File: libmtp
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

When trying to craft udev rules to connect to the
Nexus 7 from Asus / Google, I ran into a libmtp panic;

sudo /usr/local/sbin/go-mtpfs /media/nexus_7/
Error: Unable to read MTPZ public exponent from ~/.mtpz-data

Device 0 (VID=18d1 and PID=4e41) is a Google Inc (for Asus) Nexus 7 (MTP).

As you can see, I'm also using the go-mtpfs module from Google.
