Bug#700061: No usable local backends
Hello, Maybe there is no useable local backend, but this package is very usefull for the remote driver. So I think this is not a grave bug but a normal bug. You could even see it as a wishlist bug, because what you want is support for Iceweasel. Bug#700061: No usable local backends
I can attest to this package's usefulness as far as using it for the remote driver to access a selenium grid. In addition, there is a phantomjs package currently in unstable: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/web/phantomjs Phantomjs *can* be used as a local backend as of python-selenium 2.27 (the current version on PiPi is 2.35). So if the package gets and update it might resolve this issue. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#700061: No usable local backends
Package: python-selenium Version: 2.2.0-1 Severity: grave Current selenium package includes the firefox webdriver, which doesn't work with recent iceweasel, and the chrome webdriver, which requires external binaries from http://code.google.com/p/chromedriver/downloads/list I cannot say anything about the remote driver, but absence of usable local drivers sounds very serious to me. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.8.0-rc3-wrar-1+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-selenium depends on: ii python 2.7.3-3 ii python-rdflib 2.4.2-1+b2 ii python2.6 2.6.8-1.1 ii python2.7 2.7.3-6 python-selenium recommends no packages. python-selenium suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
