 Dear Maintainer,

After much frustration I finally discovered why GNOME's Calculator is not
showing up in the GNOME applications menu. The applications menu file is
looking for a differently named desktop file than is currently being shipped.
The package currently ships gcalctool.desktop (the old name from the old
gcalctool package, before it was renamed). The menu file is looking for gnome-
calculator.desktop (named such after the new package providing the GNOME
 Calculator program).

 Could you please correct this?

gnome-menus is wrong here, will fix this shortly.

Thanks for your report.

Emilio

2013-06-09 Thread Matteo Settenvini
I can confirm this bug. Without the change, you have to run
gnome-calculator from the command line... certainly not a good idea for
normal users.

Could someone please rename the file, or
fix /etc/xdg/menus/gnome-applications.menu from package gnome-menus?

Cheers,
