rul@hesperos:~$ whatis libtoolize libtoolize (1) - manual page for libtoolize 2.4.1a rul@hesperos:~$ whatis libtool libtool (1) - manual page for libtool 2.4.2 Those commands should output a small description of what the given program does. This is probably a missconfiguration in how help2man was called, although I'm only guessing beacause I've never used it. Cheers.
