Yes, this will happen but it's not clear when since I currently don't have the time to work on it. The fact that my new laptops' modem firmware crashes on USSD messages and my USB Stick doesn't seem to work with current MM (didn't even get around to debug enough to file a report) doesn't improve the situation so don't hold your breath.
