Right, I will look at that during debconf. Moreover I have a newer
version of penlight ready to be uploaded, and it may fix that as well.

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

  apt-get failed.

This was probably a transient problem due to lua-ldoc's dependency on
the new lua-penlight. However, now that that has cleared, lua-penlight
still fails to build in a clean chroot:

Hi,

During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your package failed to build on
amd64.

 apt-get failed.

The full build log is available from:

http://aws-logs.debian.net/ftbfs-logs/2013/06/20/lua-penlight_1.0.3a-1_unstable.log

A list of current common problems and possible solutions is available at
http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS . You're welcome to contribute!

About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on EC2 VM instances from
Amazon Web Services, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every
failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.
