Hello Alexander, I've incorporated your suggestions into a patch present in the next version of mini-httpd (1.30-10). This is already committed in VCS, I'm waiting for a FTP upload for now. Thanks a lot for your contribution(s)to Debian !
This is what your test commands produce now with the latest (1.30-10) version of the program (default config): worker@sid:~$ echo -en 'GET /no/such/file HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n' | nc 127.0.0.1 80 | grep -i Content-Type Content-Type: text/html;charset=iso-8859-1 worker@sid:~$ echo -en 'GET /directory/ HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n' | nc 127.0.0.1 80 | grep -i Content-Type Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 worker@sid:~$ apt list --installed | grep mini-httpd WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts. mini-httpd/now 1.30-10 amd64 [installed, local] Does this look OK to you now ? Seems fixed from my point of view. If possible, please retest when you get an official upgrade of the package throught apt. If everything is OK, nothing else needs to be done. However, if you still see wrong output please open another bug report and we'll take it from there since this one will automatically close pending FTP upload. Thanks again and have a good one, Alexandru Mihail
