Bug#716727: geda-gaf: unbuildable on ia64 due to missing guile-2.0
The geda-gaf source package currently builds quite happily against Guile 1.8. Is it possible to have geda-gaf with Guile 1.8 on ia64, and geda-gaf with Guile 2.0 on other architectures? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. There's not much point in holding release of new versions of geda-gaf up due to failure to build on ia64. Unless someone plans to get guile-2.0 building on ia64, the best solution may be to just evict the ia64 build of geda-gaf from the archive entirely. I strongly suspect it's not used anywhere. It doesn't look like guile-2.0 has managed to build on ia64 in the couple of years it's been in the archive; maintainers (CCed) - is there any likelihood that it will? I'm pretty much out of the loop on ia64 development at this point, but I can't think of anyone I know who is likely to work on it. Bdale pgp8k70RRtoDv.pgp Description: PGP signature
