Bug#719757: openmotif: please package the man-pages separately so that they can be installed along with Lesstif

2013-08-14 Thread G.raud
Package: openmotif
Version: openmotif
Severity: wishlist

Having the OpenMotif manual pages in a separate package libmotif-doc instead of
inside libmotif-dev would allow this new package not to conflict with any
Lesstif
packages; thus it would be possible to have some Motif manual pages installed
along
with Lesstif.

Regards

Motif is now licensed with LGPL so it is finally free. We moved it to
the main archive and we try to remove Lesstif2 before we release Jessie,
making this bug moot.

However, depending on the size of the documentation, it might still be
worth it. I can't recall if we didn't look into this when we did the
motif overhaul, so reassigning to motif to not forget about this.
