The only one which might still be relevant is maybe
debian/patches/06_-lasyncns.patch. Updated for 1.5.1 it would look like

Thanks for getting in touch with us, Mikael.

The latest loudmouth version we ship in Debian is 1.4.3 from [1]. Is you
fork based on that?
Since the old upstream website [2] is spam nowadays, does the project
have a new website?
The Debian package shipped a couple of patches [3]. As new upstream, you
might have a look at incorporating those as you see fit. I haven't
actually checked 1.5.1 yet, maybe this already happened.

Cheers,
Michael

You're welcome,

This link (GNOME FTP) is actually the latest release of Loudmouth by
Imendio (2007).
The project has then been handed over from Imendio to Engine Yard,
and there was a 1.5.0 release in early 2008 (which has never been
uploaded to GNOME FTP servers).

Since Engine Yard has stopped maintaining Loudmouth, we've taken over
maintnership (with the agreement of Mikael Hallendal from the initial
Imendio team, since Engine Yard did not respond).

So yes, this is the same tree as Loudmouth 1.4.3.

No, currently it is hosted on the same server as mcabber:
https://mcabber.com/files/loudmouth

I don't know if it would be possible to upload an archive to the GNOME
FTP as well -- that would be nice.

I've already done so and I think all relevant patches have been
merged... Let me know if you think I missed one!
FWIW, the Fedora guys have also checked and sent their own patches so I
think we should be up-to-date.

Thanks for your time!

2014-01-02 Thread Florian Schlichting
Source: loudmouth
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

the company originally behind loudmouth split up / dissolved years ago and
loudmouth-project.org displays crap, but some continuing development can
be found on github, particularly at https://github.com/mcabber/loudmouth
where the people behind MCabber add features, fix bugs and do some
general housekeeping.

Please consider packaging a github snapshot of loudmouth.

Florian,
maintainer of irssi-plugin-xmpp
