fixed 738701 1.12.1-1 thanks I have not tried 1.12.0~a4-1, which looks like an alpha version. Versions between 1.9.2~b2-1 (affected) and 1.12.0 were not packaged.
Reading the changelog, it was seemingly known that newer iceweasels break firebug.
