Bug#742324: icedove: Can't create 2nd e-mail account

2014-03-22 Thread Nigel Horne
Package: icedove
Version: 24.3.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'm trying to add a second e-mail account. All looks OK until the very
end when it aborts saying Incoming server already exists. It doesn't
say where it exists or offer me a button to fix it. The name of the
incoming server is not the same as that on the existing account.

can you please tell something more around your constellation?

Is this a fresh installation?
Have you tried to start in safe mode?
Have you tried to backup your current config an setup a complete new
profile?
From which provider is your first email account?
What tells Icedove in the error console or equal what's printed out in
the terminal if you start Icedove in a terminal window?

Regards
Carsten

It was a new profile.
