Yes. I really need to dh-ize the debian directory. I did see the light
quite some time ago but I never got around to updating liblockfile. I'm
putting it on the agenda.

Bug#748387: liblockfile: missing debian/copyright

2014-05-16 Thread Jonathan Nieder
Source: liblockfile
Version: 1.09-6
Severity: serious
Justification: policy 4.5

In liblockfile 1.09-6:

 $ ls debian/
 changelog
 control
 liblockfile-bin.overrides
 patches
 postinst
 postrm
 rules
 shlibs
 source
 $ tar -tf ../liblockfile_1.09-6.debian.tar.bz2
 debian/
 debian/control
 debian/source/
 debian/source/options
 debian/source/format
 debian/rules
 debian/patches/
 debian/patches/series
 debian/patches/fix-buffer-overflows.patch
 debian/patches/688074-Makefile.in-NVER.patch
 debian/patches/Makefile.in.patch
 debian/liblockfile-bin.overrides
 debian/shlibs
 debian/changelog
 debian/postrm
 debian/postinst

The copyright file appears to be missing.

Thanks,
Jonathan

What you're talking about is a 'should' in Policy 12.5; doesn't look
like a serious bug to me.

Good catch.

I noticed it while trying to read the copyright file through
packages.qa.debian.org. Looks like the binary packages are okay, and
the information's there in the source package --- the path is just
wrong.

Thanks,
Jonathan
