That a) only answers the to what b) was obvious since you report it against. So it was 4.2.4-3 to 4.2.4-4? Or did you not update in ages and it was really a 4.1.6-4.2.4? In the first case it's a non-LO bug as the update didn't have LO code changes in the second case it might. Apologies: I update daily from dpkg.log 2014-06-04 08:12:10 upgrade libreoffice-base:amd64 1:4.2.4-3 1:4.2.4-4 In the first case it's a non-LO bug as the update didn't have LO code changes in the second case it might. I would love to know what the bug was as it certainly changed quite a bit: eg the opening LO splash screen now shows all the files I have recently opened. That sounds like a massive change. Like upgrading 4.1.6-4.2.4, which does that change (btw, I don't think you mean the splash screen but the start center...). Did you upgrade while LO was running (e.g. in the background, e.g. the quickstarter). Which will open the already running LO,not a new one.. That explains your drastic change, (And it would actually make this a 4.1.6-4.2.4 upgrade after all.) Otherwise, no idea.
