Hi Eriberto, i finally found the error. Only happens on the first run of the program, and only if you choose a language contrary to standard. The tutorial helped a lot, thanks. What program did you use to compile? i did use pbuilder. You run the program in a chroot environment? I'm running out, I did not see how. I could not reproduce the problem of language. I have to generate a new upstream version number? even as the first package? I think it would be best to just use the user's locale to decide which language to display. Hi Paul, the user decide is better, because some users have systems in English and prefer the Portuguese language, or otherwise. I have friends who think this way. Example: people learning new languages.

I don't like to sponsor Java programs because it is a bit confuse for
me. However, as you are Brazilian, I will try it. So, please:
1. d/compat: change to 9.
2. d/control:
- Update debhelper to 9.
- Break the Build-Depends line to make easy the visualization. Two
examples are[1][2].
- Create a VCS to control your debian/ versions. You can use
github or other. So, add the Vcs-Browser and Vcs-{Git|Svn|Cvs} to
d/control.
- Depends: break the lines.
- Your long description is very short. Try write more about your
program and its features to attract more users.

3. d/copyright:
- Use one GPL-3+ text. Please, see an example here[3].

keep the translation too. Or, write a README file (or similar) saying
in English that your code is under GPL.
