Package: flashplugin-nonfree Version: 1:3.6.1 Followup-For: Bug #762362 I was able to reproduce this with a recent Knoppix Live CD. Problem is that the SSL certificate of people.debian.org is not trusted (running wget to the URL shows just this error). Disabling the certificate-check in the update script fixed this problem (e.g., adding --no-check-certificate to line 165 of /usr/sbin/update-flashplugin-nonfree). Of course this is not a solution to this problem. Not sure why the certificate is not trusted, works fine on a Wheezy install here.
