Bug#765692: [sslscan] New upstream

2015-04-26 Thread jp null
Kali has packaged a different fork of sslscan

https://github.com/rbsec/sslscan
https://bugs.kali.org/view.php?id=2031

This one can be statically built, so that would get around issues with SSL 2.0
and SSL 3.0 support

Since Jessie has just been released, might be a good time to look at updating
to one of the new upstreams for Stretch?

 Hi there,

 there is a new fork of sslscan available since a while at
 https://github.com/DinoTools/sslscan. As it has many new features[1]
 included, it would be neat to move upstream to it and release a new
 package of it.

 As I needed this for a own project, I did some work already and you can
 grab it from https://gitlab.uncompleted.org/debian/sslscan.

 Many thanks, Jan.
