Yes, it also works for me!

After choosing mesa-diverted GDM3 and Gnome works again.

This problem occurred exactly on the day when the update packages
glx-diversions, glx-alternative-mesa and glx-alternative-nvidia were
installed for the first time. They were not on my PC before.

This bug should be re-assigned to the glx package. He chose nvidia
default even if no nvidia card. I have a Intel 82G965 GPU.

Regards.

2014-11-23 Thread Rebecca N. Palmer
Did the problem start when nvidia-libopencl1 and nvidia-opencl-icd were
upgraded (check /var/log/apt/history.log)? If so, this is probably the
same bug as #769191 (see there for discussion of possible fixes):
nvidia-opencl-icd just gained a dependency on libcuda1, which pulls in
several other nvidia packages, including libgl1-nvidia-glx and
glx-alternative-nvidia.

Bug#767803: gdm3: After update Gdm3 displays Oh No! Something has gone wrong

2014-11-02 Thread Frederic MASSOT
Package: gdm3
Version: 3.14.1-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I use Gdm3 and Mate.

After the update of my testing (I usually done once a week), at the next boot
Gdm3 crach and displays:

Oh No! Something has gone wrong

Gdm3 has been updated from 3.14.0-1 to 3.14.1-1.

To start a graphical session I installed Lightdm and I configured as the
default display manager.

In Lightdm if I chose a Gnome session, I return to the screen lightdm but
without the interface, I have only the wallpaper.
By choosing a Mate session, the desktop starts normally.

In the file .xsession-errors:
