Unfortunately the diff is not based on the package in testing. Even if
the stable update is accepted, the diff that's entering testing is
between testing and your proposed package, not between
possible-future-wheezy and that package. As such, the diff needs to
include all of the changes that you're proposed making to testing.

The attached diff is between 3.0.1-1 and 3.1.0-1. The source is also
available in the collab-maint git repo.

Thanks. Unfortunately, that still has effectively the same problem - it
relies on the stable update having been accepted.

Thanks to Andreas B's help, that diff is now actually correct for what
you're requesting; sorry for the noise.

Regards,

Adam

I already tried sending it, but it seems to be picked up by some
filter.

Thanks. We now seem to have several copies. :-)

The update for testing is independent of the stable update, even if you
want them both to include the same change; the package will effectively
branch. The proposed update for testing needs to be based on the package
that is in testing now and not include changes targetted at other
suites.

2014-11-02 Thread Andreas Noteng
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Please preapprove unblock on package bashburn
I packaged this almost two years ago. I had some problems finding a sponsor and
forgot about the package after a while. I now have a sponsor willing to upload
the package. The old version currently in testing really should be updated
before the release.

The attached diff is against 3.0.1-2 whitch currently awaiting approval for
upload to stable.

unblock bashburn/3.1.0-1
