Bug#768038: dgit: on jessie clone of package for suite sid gets jessie version

2014-11-04 Thread Ian Jackson
Control: severity -1 serious

Daniel Glassey writes (Bug#768038: dgit: on jessie clone of package for suite
sid gets jessie version):
 Package: dgit
 Version: 0.22
 Severity: important

Thanks for the report.

 Using dgit with bibletime
The version of bibletime in sid/amd64 is 2.10.1-1
The version of bibletime in jessie/amd64 is 2.9.2-1.1

Actually, sid has both versions according to projectb (the archive
database). But dgit should pick the newer. It doesn't, because it is
(everywhere) using the wrong function from Dpkg::Version (!)

I will upload to fix this right away.

Ian.
