Bug#768325: [Intent to NMU] Bug#768325: machanger: Automatic run doesn't change the serial number, only vendor id
Hi Hans-Christoph David, Jean-Michel Nirgal Vourgère wrote (27 Nov 2014 09:48:03 GMT) : The attached patch changes the -A into a -e. I believe it's the best choice, so that the user doesn't draw attention to himself by using an unknown vendor id. Fully agreed. I intend to NMU based on Jean-Michel's patch (and proposed package update on mentors.d.n), and then request an unblock before the December 5th deadline. Any objection? Uploaded and pushed to the Vcs-Git. I'll take care of the unblock request, unless Jean-Michel beats me to it (don't hesitate). Jean-Michel: I've split your changes into atomic commits, and slightly rephrased debian/changelog. Next time, don't hesitate submitting a Git branch, I suspect the maintainers would appreciate being able to simply pull from it :) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
