Collectd incorrectly initialises libgcrypt in the plugins using libcurl, leading to a segfault due to concurrent threads accessing shared resources. A patch for this issue will be part of upcoming bugfix release 5.4.2 and can be retrieved at this address: https://github.com/collectd/collectd/commit/66b400ab01b I believe it should be included in the package shipped with jessie, as it prevents collectd from crashing when several libgcrypt-backed plugins are used together. Also, this issue was raised but only partly fixed in #735173. The patch mentioned above fixes it completely.
