2015-01-03 Thread Graham Inggs
Attached is an updated debdiff which includes upstream's fix for
#768756 and change of maintainer and uploaders fields.
It also includes some minor packaging changes which were committed to
wader's vcs [1], but not yet released (see #662823).

I haven't pushed any changes to wader's vcs as I am waiting for
approval to join the Python Applications Packaging Team.

Hi Alex

Thanks for the prompt response.

Please file Request for Adoption (RFA) or Orphan (O) bugs [1] for the
packages you no longer have time to maintain and cc me on the wader
one so I can close it with my next upload.

Hi,

I no longer have time to maintain wader and would be happy to turn over
maintenance of the package.

Sorry for any inconvenience I've caused.

I don't know if Alex is still active, I'm cc-ing him in the hope of a response.

I would be happy to co-maintain or take over maintenance of wader as needed.
It is an alternate dependency of modem-manager-gui, which I maintain.

Regarding the patch, I have been in contact with upstream and he is
testing a different approach to fixing this problem.
Basically, ensuring network_id is always an integer rather than
changing network_id to text.

I'll attach a new debdiff to this bug soon.

Graham

Is the maintainer still active? As wader was auto-removed from testing
(indicating lack of response to the RC bug for some time) I'm reluctant
to have it in stable with no maintenance.

If you intend to take over maintenance that would be a positive influence.

Hi release team

Please consider the attached debdiff to fix a FTBFS in wader (bug #768756).
Wader was removed from Jessie on 2014-12-08, however I only became
aware of the problem after bug #774098 was filed. I am not the
maintainer of wader, so I seek pre-approval before I start the NMU
process.

Regards
Graham
