Bug#774265: fdroidserver: Unrecognised build flag at antcommands=mod-release against current fdroiddata

2015-01-11 Thread Chris
Hi,

My guess is that the build stuff is still too much of a moving target to
 really support it in Debian/jessie.

have thought about the same after using the git version now. Don't know
if it is possible to catch up with the changes in fdroiddata.

So maybe just leave this open as a reference for users having the same
problem to let them know how to circumvent it like described in my last
mail.

Bug#774265: fdroidserver: Unrecognised build flag at antcommands=mod-release against current fdroiddata

2015-01-07 Thread Hans-Christoph Steiner
Thanks for the bug report. My personal priority with this package was getting
it to the point where it could be used to create and maintain fdroid binary
repos with only what is included in Debian.

My guess is that the build stuff is still too much of a moving target to
really support it in Debian/jessie. The recommended way to run builds is
using fdroidserver from git.

But I'll happily review simple patches to make things work better on jessie.

Bug#774265: fdroidserver: Unrecognised build flag at antcommands=mod-release against current fdroiddata

2015-01-03 Thread Chris
Hi,

this should be fixed with the fdroidserver version 0.3.0:

https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidserver/tree/0.3.0

As a workaround the problematic .txt files can be deleted from the
/metadata folder of fdroiddata.

Bug#774265: fdroidserver: Unrecognised build flag at antcommands=mod-release against current fdroiddata

2014-12-30 Thread Chris
Package: fdroidserver
Version: 0.2.1-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the build of a specific app like:

fdroid build de.blinkt.openvpn:98

against a git checkout of the current fdroiddata failes with the
following message:

---
fdroidserver.metadata.MetaDataException: Unrecognised build flag at
antcommands=mod-release in metadata/org.andglkmod.hunkypunk.txt:39
--

It seems the syntax of the metadata was changed recently from
antcommand to antcommands which is causing this. After modifying the
metadata.py to fix this another error is shown:

--
fdroidserver.metadata.MetaDataException: Unrecognised field type for
Binaries in metadata/se.leap.bitmaskclient.txt:19
--

This Binaries field was also introduced some month ago. Seems those
changes made the current fdroidserver unusable against a current
fdroiddata.
