After updating to 3.2.65-1+deb7u1 suspend works for me again.

 kernel 3.2.65-1, and found a number of other similar bug-reports. Many
 pointed to the patched kernel Ben Hutchings prepared, see below. His
 patched kernel solved the problem on my laptop.
