Hi! I'm not a developer but just a satisfied and excited user of Debian and of Calibre.
I agree to assigne a severity "serious" rank to this bug because one of the main goal of Debian is freedom and been absolutely sure that every package published in the main repository is free software is very important and it is something which we can not give up. However calibre is a software widely used by Debian users and remove it from the testing repository to a potential problem related to the lack of source code will create significant problems to Debian users themselves.
