Package: grub-coreboot-bin Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I changed my system partition to btrfs compressed (zlib). If the bootmenu comes from this partition it takes a long time (> 30 s) to show the bootmenu. After that waiting time all is OK. My solution: a little extra partition with ext2 and using of mount -t ext2 /dev/sdaX /media/grub2 grub-install --root-directory=/media/grub2 /dev/sda grub-mkconfig -o /media/grub2/boot/grub/grub.cfg With that change the timing is normal.
