Thanks for the report, Unfortunately I can't reproduce this bug, after
the last update, I Have installed 0.5.2 version, and this work
correctly, Could you try if the unstable version[1] solve your
problem?

Justification: renders package unusable

I am running testing. After the last update in which Guake was updated the F12
toggle key nu longer closes Guake.

The F12 key opens Guake, but pressing it again doesn't close Guake.

Changing the key doesn't resolve the problem.
