Bug#788767: monav: FTBFS with gcc 4.9/mapnik 3.0.0: requires flags for c++11 support

2015-07-31 Thread peter green
It seems the c++11 thing is just the tip of the iceberg, looks like the
mapnik api has changed significantly (headers disappearing, types no
longer existing etc).

 Dear Maintainer,

 The package fails to build on sid, inside libmapnik:

FTBFS in sid is severity:serious. This is blocking the mapnik transition.

Dear Maintainer,

The package fails to build on sid, inside libmapnik:

make[4]: Entering directory '/tmp/buildd/monav-0.3/plugins/osmrenderer'
[...]
In file included from /usr/include/c++/4.9/cstdint:35:0,
 from /usr/include/mapnik/global.hpp:27,
 from /usr/include/mapnik/color.hpp:28,
 from /usr/include/mapnik/map.hpp:28,
 from mapnikrenderer.cpp:27:
/usr/include/c++/4.9/bits/c++0x_warning.h:32:2: error: #error This file
requires compiler and library support for the ISO C++ 2011 standard. This
support is currently experimental, and must be enabled with the -std=c++11 or
-std=gnu++11 compiler options.
[..]
mapnikrenderer.cpp:32:31: fatal error: mapnik/graphics.hpp: No such file or
directory
 #include mapnik/graphics.hpp
   ^

Maybe this is a problem with libmapnik instead? I'm not sure what their
expectation is.

cstdint doesn't strike me as a very important header.
