2019-01-19 Thread Thorsten Glaser
Hi Tiago,

>So, waiting from upstream answer.

thanks for looking into this… I talked to upstream about this a
while ago and it ended with that they don’t have much interest
in the /etc/papersize thing, which is pretty distro-specific,
but would merge a patch if someone would write it.

I looked into it a bit but it turns out that it would need
quite some amount of code (also, it’s probably easier to do
it with*out* using libpapersize). I have it somewhat on my
radar but definitely not a priority, so won’t be writing the
supporting code any time soon.

It *is* documented in the manpage though:

BUGS
 MuseScore does not honour /etc/papersize.

I was about to close this bug due to the comments on this bug report at
upstream's side: https://musescore.org/en/node/14365 (commit:
https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/commit/e6a2034b84b05f29ffbaf2d01e1aaf2e7c0438ee#diff-92b9ba7ed35cb159d5dbf87c5c1b2b74R149)

However, after some testing I see that it hasn't been fixed on Linux
systems yet.

So, waiting from upstream answer.

Bests,
