I ran into this today. I don't have a lot of hope considering the reporter never got a reply in nearly a year.
I'm using Debian Stable, everything up to date, ssh+screen+irssi. I'm not even sure what libres is. At this point, EVERY time I start irssi, I see these lines. Nothing on this system has changed other than variable data storage. No package installations/removals in approximately a month. Seems to have just started today.
