Hi Maximiano

Thank you by your reply. I studed a lot my problem and, at end, isn't
nothing related with kde/pĺasma. With plasma upgrade, arrivied the kernel
4.x and i saw in this site[1] the problem: 'acpi_osi= ' option in the grub.
(attention at final space after equal).

Sorry by my post, but your suggestions give me a north to find the problem.
Many people are with same problem, but without associate with kernel but
yes with kde5.

Eh, that seems to be a copy and paste error.

I could not reproduce the issue, but this could be related to a different
issue regarding globalaccels, where some modifiers are not interpreted in the
same way in the systemsettings interface than when you are trying to use them.
Could you change the shortcut to something like Meta-n, Meta-m, Meta-j and
Meta-k just to test this?

Also, if the brightness control device can't be detected the pressed key
should be received by the focused application. In konsole, for example, is
shown as a sn sm sj and sk.

If possible, please share the results of these tests in this bug.

Dear Maintainer,

After upgraded kde 4 to 5, the control's keys of backlight isn't working.

Before, the keyboard backlight isn't work, and the screen backlight was fine.
Now, is a inverse situation.

Using the package xbacklight, i can set more or less brighness.

I using sid packages in a Asus UX301LA.
